what is a swift ?

SWIFT - Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications

SWIFT is a cooperative society under Belgian law and it is owned by its member financial institutions. SWIFT has offices around the world. SWIFT headquarters, designed by Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura are located in La Hulpe, Belgium, near Brussels. The current Chairman of SWIFT is Yawar Shah, who was born and raised in Pakistan, and the CEO is L├ízaro Campos, who is from Spain.

SWIFT - Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications
SWIFT operates a worldwide financial messaging network which exchanges messages between banks and other financial institutions.

SWIFT enables its users to exchange automated, standardised financial information securely and reliably, thereby lowering costs, reducing operational risk and eliminating operational inefficiencies. SWIFT also brings the financial community together to work collaboratively to shape market practice, define standards and debate issues of mutual interest.

SWIFT transports financial messages in a highly secure way, but does not hold accounts for its members and does not perform any form of clearing or settlement.

SWIFT does not facilitate funds transfer, rather, it sends payment orders, which must be settled via correspondent accounts that the institutions have with each other. Each financial institution, to exchange banking transactions, must have a banking relationship by either being a bank or affiliating itself with one (or more) so as to enjoy those particular business features.

Bank identifier codes (BICs) are popularly known as "SWIFT codes".
SWIFT Code is a unique identification code for a particular bank and it is a standard format of Bank Identifier Codes (BIC).

SWIFT Codes are used for transferring money and messages between banks.
SWIFT Code is 8 or 11 characters for a bank. If SWIFT Code is 8 character code then it points to the primary branch/office
  • First 4 characters represents bank code.
  • Next 2 characters represents ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code.
  • Next 2 characters represents location code. (letters and digits) (passive participant will have "1" in the second character)
  • Last 3 characters represents branch code. These characters are optional. ('XXX' for primary office)

There are a great many SWIFT codes which correspond to various types of message. A SWIFT code is normally made up of the letters 'MT', and then a three digit number. The 'MT' simply stands for 'message type', and the numbers correspond to a certain type of SWIFT message. For obvious reasons these numbers are standardized globally and do not change between countries.

Concentration

We went for a local sightseeing in Delhi in a touring van with nearly 10 members. To happily spend the day together we all introduced to each other formally.

Now I want to share about the two friends who came along with us.

Both guys were very interesting to watch. It seems one is very passionate about taking photos and other guy is crazy about giving pose for photos. Both friends can be noted for perfection in their work.We entered Jama Masjid, looked all around the mosque, admired architectural works, made a few clicks and we rested in a place. Many tourist people did the same as we did.But those two guys were different.

By profession, they both were IT professionals. One like photographer finding a location for his movie or serial, very seriously rolling over his camera and searching for the best location to click.Another like hero acting in a movie was very busy in correcting his hair style with mirror.

As a tourist, primarily we give importance to visit the place all around within the time given. Then if the place is of any significance or if we like the place we will click. To keep as good memories generally people will take photos with a smiling face by standing and sitting in a different position. This alone I have seen.

Although it was their first visit, those two guys never bothered more about visiting all around.Everytime the photographer guy uses to set  the location and instruct the other guy to pick the costume matching to the location and to get ready for his clicks. When everyone was in a hurry to cover the place, those guys without caring concentrated only in justifying their each and every photo.

Next day,we went to Taj Mahal.Seeing the beauty of Taj Mahal like others even they both got disturbed initially. But no sooner they both started their work hurriedly to make more clicks. As usual we all visited, clicked and came to these friends to watch them.More crowd was around them. But those two guys were in their own world of taking photos and giving pose without caring about the crowd watching. The guy who is giving pose had dark and light color shirts, two different jackets and glasses to change for the photos as required.

The photographer guy took us a group photo. Then they both started admiring their own work. They were discussing about the role they played and were admiring their photos. Finally while returning we all got excited and inquired them about the purpose of taking photos. They replied not for any professional use and it is just for the memories and to show to their friends. It seems that one hates taking photos and other hate giving pose.We asked the photographer guy about not being in a single photo. He replied that he has no interest in that.Similarly the other guy with him, never clicked a single photo. Both concentrated only in their own interest. They both never worried about clicking or not being in a single photo.

A photo is just a photo for me and I have never seen people like them.

Both guys without taking the eyes, concentrated in their work.Even I justified my work with full concentration without taking my eyes from them(as usual by watching what i like) .So I feel concentration being a common platform connected us.

Adventurous Real Experience

This is my entry for "The Kissan 100% Real Blogger Contest".

Details about the places I mentioned here is written below.

One hot summer morning we started our trip from Singampunari to Natham(Mariamman Temple)to watch the pal kodam festival. We started our trip as an usual trip to temple with no plans. But it turned as an adventurous trip for us.We reached the temple, had darshan, watched all rituals and felt happy and satisfied.

We want to have the food and finish our lunch in the temple. So we waited for the crowd to get dispersed.Meantime, while talking to the nearby local people we came to know about Karanthamalai falls. We all felt very curious to visit the place.

So without wasting time, from Natham temple we started driving towards Karandamalai. On the way we all felt bad for not bringing an extra pair of dresses to take a bath in the falls. With the assistance of the bystanders we neared Karanthamalai.
After reaching the place alone we came to know that we had to walk 2-3kms to reach the falls. We all looked at each other and finally decided to go ahead.

We parked our car in the main road. But villagers guided us to drive in.The path looked very narrow with thorns and sharp small stones.so we all hesitated.Like showing in cinemas,in one way path,no space for a car to go straight, slightly in a slanting way we drive and entered Karandamalai.By God's grace our car tyre never got punctured.
So entry itself created fear.We all felt afraid and also got excited about unusual driving on a very narrow path.We crossed the narrow path with the big question of how to get returned again in the path. From the villagers,we came to know that the falls is inside the forest. We all got shocked and felt bad. With the excitement of seeing falls without knowing details about the place we started like that we blamed each other.
But all our questions and worries got vanished from our mind after seeing mango trees.
A huge number of different types of mango trees first cacthes our eyes.we parked our car and ran towards the tree.We saw a friendly person standing and guarding mango trees. We asked him to guide us inside the forest to reach the falls. He accepted and also gave us permission to pluck mangoes.
In my life I have seen mango trees only in picture.Huge number of trees with different varieties of mangoes. That moment sky is the limit for my happiness.I felt very excited.I plucked and ate mangoes directly from the trees. Then I plucked a lot and stored in my bag to make pickles. The experience was completely unusual but it gave unlimited happiness.
After that we started waking in rude path with full of trees, stones and small rocks. The path was not even and it was filled with thorns and many insects. So we felt very difficult to walk.
We had mixed emotions while walking inside the forest.Very few local village people only were there. In some place except us nobody was found. We felt afraid as we entered deeper.we prayed forest god idol there to strengthen us.
We reached the small stream of the main waterfalls.we all felt hungry.we opened our packed food and filled our stomach. Then we relaxed ourself under the shadow of a big tree. Some village people also joined us.
So we felt happy and without fear we walked towards falls along with them.Climbing up the rock we felt very difficult and risky. But finally we reached the falls and had a nice time.It was my  unforgettable unexpected adventurous real experience.

SOPA and PIPA:Is Network is in Danger?

Internet a decade ago was conceived as a distributed system with self-regulation.Now the need for "manual control" is fairly rising up.Different countries approaches this differently. In recent months, a lot of hype has been around for bills SOPA and PIPA.It has not yet approved in the U.S.Despite the fact that the threat to online privacy has receded a bit, it is useful to understand exactly what these laws are bad and dangerous to attempt to further streamline the work of the Network were not as dangerous.

What are the security-related implications of SOPA?
One big one is how it interacts with the domain name system and a set of security improvements to it known as DNSSEC.
The idea of DNSSEC is to promote end-to-end encryption of domain names, meaning there's no break in the chain between, say, Wellsfargo.com and its customer. Requiring Internet providers to redirect allegedly piratical domain names to, say, the FBI's servers isn't compatible with DNSSEC.Read More
What will SOPA require Internet providers to do?
A little-noticed portion of the proposed law, which CNET highlighted in an article, goes further than Protect IP and could require Internet providers to monitor customers' traffic and block Web sites suspected of copyright infringement.
"It would cover IP blocking," says Markham Erickson, head of NetCoalition, whose members include Amazon.com, Google, eBay, and Yahoo. "I think it contemplates deep packet inspection" as well, he said.Read More

13 products for healthy blood vessels

The blood vessels are the part of the circulatory system that transports blood throughout the body. There are three major types of blood vessels: the arteries, which carry the blood away from the heart; the capillaries, which enable the actual exchange of water and chemicals between the blood and the tissues; and the veins, which carry blood from the capillaries back toward the heart.

The following products which helps us to keep healthy blood vessels are:

Wholegrains
Fiber (fiber), which contains the whole grain (whole wheat bread, brown rice, oats and buckwheat groats, etc.). Fraps excess cholesterol and removes from the body.

Salmon (or other fatty fish)
Oily fish such as mackerel, herring, tuna and salmon contain omega-3 fatty acids. Eating oily fish twice a week reduces the risk of heart disease, reduces inflammation and improves cholesterol metabolism.

Asparagus
Asparagus is one of the best natural purifiers of the arteries - it contains lots of folate, which are treated with long-standing inflammation of blood vessels and reduce blood pressure. Therefore, asparagus is a natural medicine that prevents blood clots.
Note: to cook the asparagus just need a couple of minutes in salted water, then drizzle with a creamy melted butter or olive oil. Serve as a side dish.

Garnet
Pomegranate contains many phytochemicals that protect the mucous membranes of the arteries from the inflammation and damage. Pomegranate juice stimulates the body's nitric oxide, which dilates blood vessels and improves blood flow in vessels.
Note: Do not drink the juice from the store. Either eat fresh pomegranates with seeds, and squeeze the juice and divorce with clean water in a ratio of 1:1.

Broccoli
Broccoli is rich in vitamin K, which is essential for strong bones and prevent calcium deposits in plaques of cholesterol and damage arteries.
In addition, a lot of fiber in the broccoli, which normalizes blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Used the broccoli in soups and as garnish. And the more the better.
